  8. WorldMerge is a Windows-based electronic mail merge client application.
  9. It allows you to send customized e-mail messages to a large number of 
  10. recipients with the click of a button.

  23. Evaluation Version

  26. This is a fully functional unregistered version of WorldMerge which will
  27. expire in 30 days.  It may be used for evaluation purposes only.
  28. For registration information, select Register from the Help menu.

  30. The evaluation version limits you to 100 e-mails per send.  This 
  31. limitation goes away once you register.

  46. Support for an "Exclusion List".  An Exlusion List is a file of addresses
  47. that you don't want to send to.  To use an Exclusion List, create a file 
  48. called "exlude.txt" in the WorldMerge installation directory.  The format 
  49. of the file is one e-mail address per line.

  53. Multiple selection of recipients using the SHIFT key.

  55. Ability to specify the "To: " field for broadcast messages.  This is 
  56. accessed thru the Message->Options dialog.

  63. WorldMerge now has a command line option.  Just specify the project 
  64. name and the send method (merge or broadcast), and WorldMerge will 
  65. automatically begin sending when it's started.  The syntax is as 
  66. follows:
  67. worldmrg.exe -merge C:\FILES\My.prj        (merge send)
  68. worldmrg.exe -broadcast C:\FILES\My.prj        (broadcast send)

  70. Microsoft Excel files are now directly supported.  This feature is 
  71. still in BETA.  If you encounter any problems please email us.

  73. You can now specify the recipient list text colors for selected and 
  74. unselected recipients.  These colors can be changed via the Configure 
  75. dialog which is found under the File menu.

  79. The Message menu and Toolbar now contain commands for "Merge Send" 
  80. and "Broadcast Send".  Use the "Merge Send" button when you wish 
  81. to send a personalized message to each recipient using merge fields. 
  82. Use the "Broadcast Send" command when you wish to send the same 
  83. message to each recipient.

  85. Broadcast Mode - Non-personalized messages can be sent at the rate of 
  86. approximately 5,000 per hour with Broadcast Mode.

  90. Access Database - You can now connect directly to a Microsoft Access 
  91. database.  Just select "Microsoft Access Database" when creating 
  92. a new mail-merge project.

  94. Reply-To Field - You can now specify a Reply-To address for each 
  95. mail-merge project.  The Reply-To Field can contain your name and 
  96. email address or just your email address.  Note the following examples:

  100. Report Generation - Generate status reports for each send.  Just specify 
  101. a file name and WorldMerge will create a report containing the status of

  112. Using WorldMerge
  113. ----------------

  115. 1. Create a comma delimited or text delimited database file. The 
  116.    first entry must contain the field names.  
  117.    A test database file (testdb.txt) is supplied as an example.
  118. 2. Start WorldMerge and follow the Wizard.
  119. 3. Type in your email message, including database fields to be merged.
  120. 4. Select your recipients manually and/or by query.
  121. 5. Press send!

  150. executable form for individual use only.

  153. Software, ColoradoSoft reserves the right at any time not to release a new 
  154. commercial release of the Software or, if released, to alter prices, 
  155. features, specifications, capabilities, functions, licensing terms, 
  156. release dates, general availability or other characteristics of the 
  157. release.
